The story of Restaurante Tendido 6 begins around the year 1960. The founder Don Juan de la Flor and his wife Adela de la Calle, started in this same location a small intimate bar serving local wine, olives and garlic chicken. The business grew over time and before long that intimate bar was becoming larger and eventually growing into the restaurant you see today.
Its walls are full of experiences and memories, building a repution as a living museum of the history of Jerez. Its two large rooms, one for one hundred and twenty and one for sixty, allow you to hold large group meals or other more private celebrations.
For many years it has been a compulsory visit for bullfighters and artists because of its proximity to the Plaza de Toros of Jerez. Several awards have been received throughout its history, counting among them the Gold Badge awarded by the Federation of Hospitality.
Today, chef Arturo de la Flor is the third generation of the restaurant, he grew his culinary skills for several years outside his city, but returned home to revolutionize the family restaurant. Arturo brings his creativity, passion and talent in the kitchen, transforming dishes by always giving them a special touch, fusing traditional with modern cuisine.
